Website and software support for businesses

We take over websites and business software that someone else built, fix what is broken, deliver the changes that keep getting delayed, and support it every month. You get one team that takes responsibility for it, and a written report on what we did.

Tell us what you use, what is not working and what needs to change. You do not need a technical specification.

You already have a system. You need someone responsible for it.

The developer has gone quiet.

The person or agency who built it has stopped replying, moved on, or only answers when something breaks.

Small changes take weeks.

A form fix or a new field turns into a quote, a delay and a follow-up email.

Your team works around it.

Staff copy data between systems, keep spreadsheets alongside the software, and remember steps the system should handle.

You know what the business needs. You should not have to become a software expert to get it done.

What we help with

Take over an existing website or application
Bring us a website or application built by another developer or agency. We assess its condition, secure the access we need, and tell you plainly what supporting it involves.
Fix problems and deliver overdue changes
Broken forms, awkward booking flows, out-of-date customer portals, and the list of changes your team has been waiting for.
Connect systems and automate manual work
Integrations and workflow automation for tasks that currently depend on spreadsheets, re-keying data or someone remembering to send an email.
Modernise what needs to change
Better usability, speed and maintainability. Where the existing system can do the job, we build on it. Where replacing it makes more sense, we explain why, and what it costs.

Technologies we support

  • WordPress
  • React and Next.js
  • Node.js
  • Mobile apps
  • Shopify
  • C# and .NET

Using something else? Ask. We work across most modern web and mobile technology.

How it works

We start with the problem that matters most.

  1. Step 1

Tell us what is getting in the way

We talk through the system, who uses it, and what the problem costs your business. You do not need a technical specification.

  2. Step 2

Get an assessment and a written scope

We review the setup and explain the recommended work, dependencies, price and any uncertainties, in writing, before any work begins.

  3. Step 3

We deliver and test the work

We agree priorities, test changes before they go live, and time releases around how your business operates.

  4. Step 4

    Keep someone responsible

After the first project, you can move onto a monthly support plan.

Support after the project

Your team should always know who to contact when something needs attention. We agree coverage, response times and what counts as separate project work before the plan starts, and every month you receive a written report on what we checked, fixed and recommend next.

A monthly support plan covers

  • Maintenance and updates
  • Monitoring
  • Troubleshooting
  • An agreed allowance for improvements
  • A written report every month

Who does the work

Bllok is led by Metin Ferati, who has spent nine years shipping software across web and mobile and is an engineer in Toptal’s talent network. We led the full technical build of YeahApp, a platform combining events, members and payments, from first version to production, and we build and run websites for organisations including ICJP and the Muslim Charities Convention.

Everything stays yours
Code, accounts and documentation belong to your business.
A written scope first
No work starts without an agreed price and plan.
Plain English
Explanations you can act on, not jargon.

Recent takeovers

  • Turku Islamic Society

Migrated the website and took over the management of the existing WordPress site.

  • YeahApp

Acted as technical lead: architecture, stack and the full build from first version to production.

Questions you might have

Can you work with a website or app another developer built?

Yes. We start by assessing the code, hosting, integrations and the access available. That tells us whether we can take responsibility for it, and what needs attention first.

Will we need to rebuild everything?

Not necessarily. Rebuilding is usually the most expensive option, so we recommend it only when fixing the existing system would cost more over time. We explain the reasoning either way.

We do not know which technology our system uses. Is that a problem?

No. Send us the website address or describe the application, and we will identify the technical details.

Which technologies do you support?

We regularly work with WordPress, React and Next.js, Node.js, mobile apps, Shopify, and C# and .NET. If your system uses something else, ask: we work across most modern web and mobile technology.

Do you offer WordPress support?

Yes. We maintain, fix and extend WordPress sites, including ones built with page builders and custom themes, and we can take over a WordPress site from a previous developer.

Can you work alongside our current developer or agency?

Yes. We can coordinate a handover, or take responsibility for a specific area alongside them.

What happens to logins and access?

We use our own accounts rather than shared logins, record the access we hold, and hand everything back if we stop working together.

How much does website and software support cost?

We scope the first piece of work once we understand the system and the problem, and quote it in writing. Larger or unfamiliar applications may need a paid assessment before we can quote accurately. Monthly support plans are quoted once we know the system.
